Marilyn Caulfield
My name is Marilyn Caulfield and I am from Long Island , NewYork, where I lived since birth until moving to NWA almost 2 years ago. It was only after my husband assured me that there was a great running club in the area, and after meeting Mike and Ali Rush and witnessing their passion for running, that I agreed to move half way across the country to a place I didn’t even know existed. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the area which to me is a breath of fresh air and a welcome respite from my fast paced life as a working mom of twins and attorney in NY. I started running my sophomore year in college when, after deciding that warming the tennis team bench wasn’t any fun, I joined the cross-country team at Binghamton University . I’ve been running ever since competing in distances from the 5k to the marathon with PRs of 16:29 and 2:55:41 respectively. I’m clearly the older lady in the store and hope to share my dedication and love for the sport with others.
